Before you buy: questions worth checking

Does it match your exact bed length (for example 5'7" vs 6'6")? Measure inside the bed along the rail.
Can you open the tailgate with the cover closed?
Does it lock, and is the lock the cover itself or the tailgate?
Does it clamp on, or does it need drilling? About how long is the install?
Will it work with your bed rail system, bed liner or toolbox?
